Description A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in width overall consisting of a shield blazoned as follows: Per fess Azure and Gules, on a fess Argent between in chief the bust of a Minute Man in cocked hat Or (Gold) and in base a musket with bayonet and sword, in saltire, points up, of the last, two mullets Argent (Silver Gray); all with a bordure Or. Attached below the shield a Dark Blue scroll inscribed ENIHILUM PARUM in Silver. Symbolism Dark blue signifies the branch color of the Adjutant General Corps. The bust of the Minute Man in chief, adapted from the Seal of the Army Reserve, represents patriotism. Red denotes valor and the bloodshed in mission accomplishment. The musket with bayonet links the origin of the Army Reserve to the Army Reserve Careers Division. The sword indicates military preparedness. The fess refers to the readiness to serve the nation. The stars refer to the authority of the Division to serve Army Reserve Soldiers worldwide. The border symbolizes distinction. The motto translates to Never Enough. Background The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 3 September 2009. |
